Matt is an award winning director and theatre maker who trained at East 15 Acting. He was awarded the 2015 Bryan Forbes Bursary throughout which he was mentored by Michael Attenborough CBE. Matt has created and directed work at venues including the New Diorama, Finborough and Ambassadors Theatre as well as the National Theatre’s temporary space. He is Assistant Director to Emma Rice on Kneehigh’s ‘The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk’ and is developing a piece with Olivier nominated writer James Fritz. Matt regularly facilitates for organisations including the Old Vic, Almeida and Tricycle theatres as well as NYT and the wonderful Generation Arts.
