In addition to his role as Peer Facilitator at Generation Arts, Michael is Associate Artist at Playing On Theatre Company helping to create theatre to transform the lives of disenfranchised people. In 2014 he co-led on “Hearing Things” an exciting collaboration with the Maudsley Hospital generating a piece of theatre exploring mental health. He has worked as a facilitator in prisons and criminal justice settings with Safeground, Isis and Only Connect and assisted on the “No Offence” restorative justice programme at The Lyric, Hammersmith. In partnership with People’s Palace Projects and Afro Reggae Michael was part of a delegation to visit Brazil and share theatre practice. He has worked with school pupils on free school meals delivering drama skills with West End in Schools, and with 6th form students in Harlesden on a project based on the play ‘Inside’.
